FedEx and that silver ingot

    Came across an interesting story involving a Novgorod type silver ingot. What can a buyer, and the auction house he bought it from, do when FedEx needs to know the "country of manufacturer"? :)

    If they had sent it US postal service, it would have went through Austria, Germany, Greece, Italy, Russia, Syria, and Turkey twice before he got it. Once after it had already made it here.

    Just tell them the country of manufacture is Novgorod, I bet there is no directives specifying import restrictions from Novgorod.
