1) MS 65 2) MS 66 3) MS 65 4) MS 64 I'm guessing that the grades for #1 and #2 match the years Another nice batch!
I saw the 65 and and 66 in Ms 67 going for $79 each on TV. I wish I could get that kind of money for coins.
I guessed 66, 65, 65, 64. You had a really great outcome! Congratulations! My grades were based on past results from NGC - generally quite conservative and very stringent.
I agree...I have limited experience, but having submitted a few coins to both PCGS and NGC I would say NGC is a bit more stringent, but my sample size is way to small to be definitive.
By the way...they weren't all that good. I had a 70d Kennedy that I was thinking was at least MS65 come back as a 64. The reason I sent them to NGC over PCGS was because NGC considers "modern" to be 55 and after while PCGS considers it to be 65 and after so...it was more cost effective to send them to NGC...and overall I'm satisfied...after looking at the populations, the 2 SMS Kennedys and the Washington are one below the top grade.
I know it doesn't make a lot of financial sense. I don't really have a good answer for your question. I had some credit left over with NGC I needed to use, and I guess I just wanted to. Sorry, I don't have a better answer.
