The nickel, usually called a Buffalo nickel is one of the most common "dateless" coins you can find. The design caused the date to wear quickly and e-bay is full of offers of dateless buffalo nickels. Worth perhaps a dime to a quarter simply because it is a neat coin. The Indian Head Cent (IHC) is a goodie and could be worth a couple of bucks depending on how worn it is. I've never found one in circulation. The 1941 cent is fun to find, but not worth much, still, I would keep it.

Does your Indian head nickel look like this?

The reverse side has a buffalo... aka "buffalo nickel".

Lots of "dateless" buffs on ebay. I believe there's a method that can sometimes restore the date. But IIRC, it might damage the coin's numismatic value.

There's demand for dateless buffs from artistic folks who make "hobo nickels".

Dateless Buffalo or Indian Head nickels are cheap and popular as they are used to make jewelry by many people.

That dateless buffalo nickel looks like it is a 1926 date
