Welcome to CT it appears they all are large dates to me, but there so many I was blinded by the light. But let others way in there eyes are better the mine.LOL Dave
Your photo is to small to see. Here is a web site that may help you. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/smalldates/1982.html
Here is a reference so that you can help yourself: http://www.lincolncentresource.com/ If that doesnt work, @paddyman98 is the resident expert on 82D Small Date cents
I would have to agree. That website is a valuable tool when searching lincoln cents. Make sure when you need help with a coin(s), you get a good picture. A good picture in this case was not 15 coins together. Try one and learn how to tell the difference apart. Then you can look at your other 14 and do it for yourself. That's the fun part about hunting. Learning what to look for and being able to distinguish it yourself! Happy hunting!
So @Trebest, when you come across some more, let us know which type you have found to see if you have the hand of it!
I'm really confused. The example shown by Michael K looks opposite of the example Lincoln source. Which is correct, or am I just seeing it wrong? Also, who do I contact about a technical problem?
Sorry, but you are seeing it wrong. What Michael K posted is exactly the same as on lincolncentresource.com
I feel your pain Trebest. But, once I came across the delicate swan-like (as mentioned above) there was no contest. I was looking at all my 82's with a hand lens trying to make small differences into small dates. Now, I don't even have to use a hand lens! I can guarantee you will see the difference once you find one in the wild. Keep looking, there are alot of them out there.
