Spoiler I was thinking 67, but pics made it hard to tell. Based on a 67, I was thinking $29. Nice pick up.
Thanks! I’m not sure that it isn’t over graded, but that price is good for me for either of the two it could have been. I’m happy with it.
Nice coin I got in after the beans were spilled never the less nice pick up I was at 66 before the cat was out of the bag.
It might very well be a 66, but when it was up for $27 on eBay, I couldn’t pass it up. It can be my type coin for my set
Naw. It’s a 67 for sure. Not a doubt in my mind. Ultra clean fields and very minimal marks on the bust. I would have guessed you paid $32.
At the wood grading academy, (North America branch) we would give the coin a MS67. Weve contacted our North Korean office, and they too, are at the MS67 conclusion. Thanks for letting us help you
The Aruba office also confirms MS 67....guaranteed even on a blackberry screen. Unfortunately this does not get the coveted EW bean.
Oh, then you are a grading clairvoyant? I’ve collected many an Ike, and it easily could have gone either way. In fact, I have owned coins equally as clean that graded 66. Depends on the phases of the Moon, when grading Ikes like that.
Hehe. No, it’s much more straightforward than that- a simple process of elimination. There are too many marks for it to be a 68, and it’s too clean to be a 66. But, in theory, yes, this coin could have graded 66, but only if the graders were sleeping. NGC got this one right. This coin IS a 67.
