Nothing in Ma. yet. Time to start looking for those RARE die cracks at the top left of the shield.;););)

I had the will, but not the skill. I used the three-toed sloth method.

A handful of each.....Philly, Denver, San Fran & West Point? They must be pretty small buildings!

is it me or does the beard look really weak compared to older pennies?

Soft and without much detail, terrible design IMHO.

I have only been in the US for all of 6 days of 2018, so no 2018 cents have come my way. :(

Well, for the first time in my entire life, the first circulating current year coin I've seen is a D. I live about 100 miles from the Philly mint and still have not seen a 2018 from there. My first 2018 coin, other than the proof S set, is a 2018-D cent gotten in change from a Jack-In-The-Box yesterday morning in Las Colinas, Texas, near the ANA Spring show. Nicely struck, only a hint of light fingerprint.

Now I'm back in Harrisburg. Let's see some Philly product. This is getting ridiculous.

No 2018's in circulation here in Baltimore yet that I have seen. It is getting a bit late in the year to be missing that first one...

Maybe 2018 Philly cents are being hoarded as "errors" because there are no mintmarks on them. :troll::wacky::wideyed:o_O

I ordered a bank box from my teller on Friday. It will be in on next Thursday. I'll let you know how I fare.

I have pulled 8 - 2018 D Cents. and a 1.75 in quarters. I will have to run to the truck and get them. I will post some photos soon.

No 2018 coins in southwestern PA, but 2017 P cents are plentiful. 3 out of 4 cents I get in change are 2017 P.

I have trouble getting the lighting right on these new shield cents. IMG_0004.JPG IMG_0006.JPG The quarters came from the same roll. There were two that didn't have some sort of die deterioration. IMG_0007.JPG IMG_0008.JPG
I will try to get some photos up tomorrow that show the deterioration.
