Yes, that is a great find and also a great photo! What are you using to get in that close and clear to take that photo?
The close up is from an AmScope coin microscope and the software is ISCapture which allows lots of adjustment to reflection, which is the big killer of pics. The macro pic of the coin is an interesting one, we had a Samsung phone that died and bought an iPhone 6s; took the phone to Sprint to activate it and transfer data; the tech, turned with the phone and slammed it into the corner of the desk, shattering it. The manager got involved and replaced it, he didn't have a 6s, so we got the next one he had, which was an X, which takes killer pics and I simply crop them.
The X has a 12 mp camera, whereas most usb cameras are 3 or 5 mp. The higher resolution means less interpolated pixels and sharper photos. But the cost is significant.
The tech must have taken the brunt of the difference in cost of the two phones or an internal company policy; it was not terminal as we returned later and he was still there. There wasn't a second of hesitation on the part of the manager to replace the phone.
I'm rather impressed, especially considering the treatment I've received from Verizon. Never in my life have I experienced a company and/or their representatives lie so much...
Under no other circumstance could we ever afford an X, so I was taken aback too. Now all I have to do is find some coin to photograph. Thanks for all the looks and comments.
