It would help if you would show both sides of coin and crop all background out when you post and also select full image when post. I don't believe it is anything I personally would get graded. IMO

But let others chime in on there opinions

It is not a 1913, there are only five and they are all accounted for. Hard to tell what date it really is.

That one would have made my heart jump. The way that nickel was worn it does leave one thinking the date is 1913. @i.cutler is 100% correct. No chance of this one being 1913. And as heavily worn as it is, it’s no more than a cool piece of history that has little intrinsic value.

No. It is not a 1913V nickel.

Looks like 1912 to me...? In that state of corrosion, though, it doesn't much matter. It would be possible to "selectively" corrode away the surface to make it look like there had been a 3 there, so it would be impossible to prove the coin was genuine.

Would it have a chance if I send it in to have it graded they would grade it or not ?

That would be the 6th known example of a 1913 V nickel. And someone had to give it an acid bath?

It's really only worth face value, five cents. There is no reason to have it graded. Which I imagine they would just call it genuine, environmentally damaged anyway.

That's almost certainly a D mintmark on the back, which would make it a 1912-D. But again, it's too far gone to be collectable, even to a misfit-coin lover like me. :)

This coin definitely can't be graded. It could probably be slabbed, but it would be "G Details" or less, heavy environmental damage. It would be a complete waste of the grading fee.
