You'll never waste anyone's time if you're sincere, nor will learning ever be a waste of your own. Unfortunately, it does take a lot of time simply because there's a lot to learn, and is why it's usually a good idea to focus now on what interests you the most.

Paddy's website recommendations are great (and free!) if they address such areas. "Variety Vista" is another you may find enlightening. Cameras, books, whatever can come later, but for now perhaps it would be best if you shared your interests with the board so additional recommendations can be made.

    Welcome to the forum.

I found this 1990 cent, and think it may be a dd. Any help would be appreciated. It seems there may be dd in the second 9 In the date, and in the word “God”.

I see nothing remarkable on "GOD" although the photo is less than ideal for such purposes. However, I can see the "doubling" on the date, but simply isn't of the type you're hoping for.

The below link should be rather helpful in learning to identify the different types of "worthless doubling"....

And they sometimes offer a little good-natured comic relief too. ;)
