A good source for a decent priced 2017 Palladium Eagle NGC MS70 ...

So this post will not need rants and complaints about PCS (Postal Commemorative Society) I was surprised to see them offer the 2017 Palladium Eagle in NGC MS70 for $1695...free shipping and tax. (https://www.pcscoins.com/prod/3C6/PAL/America-s-First-Palladium-Coin?cm_st=2&cm_s=pal) I ordered mine and its flawless. Comes in a nice wood case with personalized cert/story card. Heck of a lot cheaper than the graded ones on Ebay etc. I tend not to buy regular coins from PCS as they are often overpriced and to be found elsewhere easily. But I do like their exclusive programming. Coin panels, Stamp Covers, Etc. Always have enjoyed them. I could care less about the resale potential. To me I am buying items that are made well and match the retail price in quality. A Hallmark card can cost $7.50. A PCS Gold Replica Stamp Cover costs about the same. I see a lot more quality and printing craft in the PCS cover...made in USA too...I will always support that. But anyway...get your Palladium Eagles before they sell out. I will post a few pics of mine.

IMO this is one of the most beautiful modern US Mint coins. Only matched by the 2009 UHR Eagle. The Palladium is the perfect canvas...giving that nice silver look yet no concern of spotting or tarnish.

 

Nice looking coin, but I wouldn't pay $700 over spot for it.

Looks like you could actually net $40-50 on an eBay flip. Interesting. I'd use a disposable e-mail address and phone number if I ordered, though.

PCS is a good company...probably the best customer service out there. Their marketing is very traditional...brochures and occasional simple emails...which one can opt out of. They have a rather old fashioned business model. In business since 1970....same management. The founder died recently...a former Proctor and Gamble Exec. He gave most of his net worth to mental illness research...and the company carries on that giving. He is on youtube...Ted Stanley...under MBI which is the parent company...PCS, Danbury Mint, Easton Press. This coin offering is a good play by them...they held out until prices rose and they came in under the average price.
