Philippines - Double Struck? Or Not?

    Did you tell the person it was fake before you paid the $15.00 ? That's a lot of money for a fake.

    No.. I decided to purchase the coin even though I suspected it was faked. As I stated I wanted it for my curiosity coin album. This is what I do.. Collect Mint Errors, non Mint Errors, fakes, varieties, tokens, love tokens, foreign, encased coins.. It's not a big hit for me moneywise ;)

    Yeah, worked out well for you. I didn't know you suspected it was a fake, I thought you knew right away. You couldn't have told them it was fake to let them know they're selling fake coins...maybe it would help deter them from selling more of it. Who knows how many they made and selling to unsuspecting/less knowledgeable people.

    It doesn't mean I won't say anything.. This evening I am planning to send the seller a message. He has about 3 more similiar coins for sale. :punch:
    Not that easy to stop these guys.

    That's pretty neat. I didn't catch the error/fake directly but when I paid it more attention, it stood out like a soar thumb. Nice!
