I know some of you small cent afficionados will want this one in your collection. You can thank me later for finding this gem. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-D-Pen...206271?hash=item239ba60d7f:g:go0AAOSwNWxaQOx5
Really do people really fall for those things I have only been doing this for a short time but even I'm not dumb enough to fall for that. I think LOL Dave
What is it the state farm commercial,? I saw it and JUST HAD TO HAVE IT. you know what before i became a member here years ago I may have thought the same thing. Naaa I probably made it.
Question Mark at the end of the Listing Title is a Disclaimer. It is a well centered squeeze, But no plexi-glass on reverse to save it from damage.
Correct me if I am wrong, but the only way the Memorial should be indented into another coin is if a coin sticks to the die during the minting process, and then is hammered onto another planchet. Clearly, the force used here is far more excessive than what would be done at the Mint. Looks awful.
I messaged the seller about it being fake. This was the response. Was this a thinly veiled threat of reporting me or something?
I normally keep private messages private, but wow. This is what they said when I told them they had a fraudulent listing and needed to take it down. Seller claims 48 years of numismatics experience!!
I reported it as a illegal listing maybe fraud, But it did not let me explain. I also told the seller it was nothing but PMD Vise Job.
I tried to report it but couldn’t find the right categories in the choices given me. So I wrote also to seller about it being a vise-job worth one cent. I’m waiting with bated breath to see if they respond. Steve
Okay I guess I’ll start making and selling these on SleezBay. Here is the key to a clean job. An arbor press not a vise or a hammer. Reed and Sparkles the Unicorn.
