I just won a coin in a Heritage auction from the E.B. Strickland Collection. The pedigree is not on the holder but is in the Heritage listing. I couldn’t find any information about this pedigree online. Does anyone have any information on it?

My only other “pedigreed” coin is from the Stack’s collection, so surely it can’t be any worse than that lol...

I don't know anything about E.B. Strickland but I won an 1879S Morgan and an 1881S Morgan that were part of his collection on HA.

Dunno if it's the same person, but an E.B. Strickland comes up in some articles about Civil War tokens. That may be purely coincidental (since the name is attached to a 19th century dry goods firm rather than a collector), but I was trying to search within a numismatic context, so that's the result I found a page or so back in a Google search. All other numismatic mentions I saw in the first page or two of the search results seem to be mere mentions of the same pedigree as relating to individual coins, with little additional information.

I hadn't heard of this pedigree, personally, until now.
