Cool link frog! Looks like the 'planchets' I posted are NOT planchets, but blanks? ed.: are the terms / names / nomenclature used on that site recognized across the industry? Or are they author's personal names for stuff - like "cut-and-tear texture"? 2nd ed.: well, looks like in the 1940 video of Philly Mint, blanks ARE called planchets (even before rolling to give them the 'edge'). ???
