I am assuming Philadelphia Minted Cents will not have the P Mint Mark as they did for the first time ever in 2017
I live just outside Philly and haven't see any 2018 coins yet. But our friends in northern NH sent this to me.
I just got a promotional mailing from Littleton over the weekend. There's a 2017-D cent in it, something we NEVER see in PA, and it looks to me to be COMPLETELY mark-free with a 10X glass. By far the nicest I've ever seen, and the fields are FROSTY! It almost resembles the 2005-2010 matte strikes from the mint sets, except the "grain" in the fields "sparkle" as the coin is tilted under the light. Both sides. It has to be an early strike from those dies.
@V. Kurt Bellman That's where it's from. It's second one they sent me this year, and this is by far the nicest one.
You don't know what you're talking about! If it is that shiney it has got to be a rare proof coin that was struck in Cauliflowerado.
