Found this interesting 1990 d today in my old poker jar

    yup, grabbed the old coin jar that I forgot was in the closet for the past 15 or so years... they still look amazing mostly. This one perked my interest. Sorry for not getting any full body pictures of the rear, let me know if its important to ya and I'll grab the Microscope again.

    I agree plating bubbles but some people might like it cause it appears that Abe is blowing his nose. LOL

    I’ve got an ‘84 with a similar effect, plating bubbles and blisters are actually very common with these zinc coins. My ‘84 is cool bc the blister is a line that looks like a bullet projectory through Lincoln’s Head.

    Wow what placement for a blister lol. I just like how it almost says 11990 for the year. Wish that one was a little lower. Also how it looks like the date is melting.
