I think the correct attribution of this coin is
    Philip I, AD 245, Denarius, AR23 mm., 4.0 gm.
Obv: IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG Radiate, draped, cuirassed bust R.
Rev: P M TR P II COS PP Philip seated left on curule chair, globe in R. hand, sceptre in L.
Ref RIC IV Pt.III Rome 148a
but, RIC shows 'SC" in exergue and my coin doesn't.
Can anyone advise me on this, please?

    Here's the RIC plate coin:

It is also RSC/Cohen 120, Hunter 3, and Sear 8943.

    And the Sear plate coin:

SC in exergue means you were looking in the bronze section of RIC. Below is my RIC 148a. It has some double striking making the SC a bit cryptic. 148b is the as of the same design. ro1040bb0370.jpg

    So I have a
    Philip I, AD 245, Antoninius, AR23 mm., 4.0 gm.
Obv: IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG Radiate, draped, cuirassed bust R.
Rev: P M TR P II COS PP Philip seated left on curule chair, globe in R. hand, sceptre in L.
Ref RIC IV Pt.III Rome 2b.

    I am happy with that.
    Thank-you, all.
