Hi everyone! I am quite overwhelmed!

I must admit that I had an ulterior motive for joining. I've got a couple of new books (besides the animal coin one) to share, but I'm not allowed to post about them unless I'm an official participant. One is about archaic smiles on Greek coins; the other about the earliest coinages of Athens. This is my 10th message (I think) so watch for my announcement in the commercial session soon.

To anyone who has purchased and/or read any of my books about fossils or coins or other stuff - my heartfelt thanks!

    All the best, Jasper

If you love coins enough to write books on them, I’m sure you’ll enjoy our community! Welcome home Jasper!

Thanks, FitzNigel! Enjoying it already! By the way, I also wrote a book about Medieval Anglo-Irish coins. I like the old handmade stuff.

Welcome to the forum Jasper, it is always great to have more people interested in Medieval coins on this site. I have the fourth edition of your book, and really enjoyed it. To anyone interested in Irish coins I would highly recommend it.

I also picked up one of the plate coins in your book. Its a very handsome Edward IV penny from the Dublin mint.
