This one is in pretty bad shape, but came to me in a lot. I can probably get a better photo later if it's worthwhile. The reverse is interesting, but I don't even know where to begin. I can make out an S C in the fields, so I think it is probably an Imperial issue. It's pretty big (24mm, 9.02g, maybe an as?), and the portrait on the front appears to be bearded (Antoninus Pius, or someone else from the late 2nd century?). Any ideas? The reverse looks pretty distinctive, so maybe someone will recognize it.

A provincial of Antoninus Pius maybe?

I think that's a bunch of grapes on the reverse, which would be a very odd reverse for a Roman imperial issue, but pretty common on a provincial.

Well, now I'm seeing a female figure with a cornucopiae. It's like a Rorschach test.

Pius seems a good guess and the reverse figure holds a cornucopia.

I was seeing a jar with a handle on the reverse :joyful: if it's a person, she has very pointed legs. It could also be upside down. With no real visible inscription, I can't tell - that might not even be an S C I'm seeing in the fields.

There could be a centration depression around the ear on the obverse, too. Or it could just be an ear...

While I'm not totally sure that's the exact one, I see now how it is a female figure with cornocopiae. I do think that there might be more inscriptions to the left and right of the figure on mine, but I can't make out what - it could be COS on the left, and numbers (maybe II? III?) on the right. Or something else entirely. But narrowing it down! I appreciate the help!

    Here's what I think I see:

Not sure on this one @SeptimusT - I'll wait and see what other folks think, meanwhile, pass the popcorn.
