WWI Germany Tokens / Notgeld

    Here are a handful of WWI era tokens my son and I just received in a mixed lot of world coins. There are some cool pieces in the group and the condition is quite nice. Any info on these would be appreciated. I know there were dozens of varieties of such tokens produced at the time.

    Those are nice, and timely with the centennial of the end of WWI. The older Krause books had token issues in them at the back of each country section, so that may be a place to start.

    The smaller the town , more rare, hold on, they are becoming seen scarcely

    Approx 650 cities/towns issued metal Notgeld "coins". Between the various denominations, varieties, and sub-varieties, there are thousands

    All of yours look like common varieties, worth about a couple of bucks each.

    Rarity doesn't necessarily equate to city size. It depends on how many were minted. For example, Wolfach has a population of about 5800, but the 1919 10 pfennig is common, but some from Westfalen, a large state, can be quite valuable
