What do you think the grade of this coin is?

    Any comments would be appreciated. 1926-s1c-O.jpg 1929-S1C-R1.jpg 1926-S1C-o2.jpg 1926-S1C-R2.jpg

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

The 1926S was usually poorly made. The dies were often well worn, such as this coin. You'll get a lot of people saying this coin grades Fine, but I think it's a solid VF.

In my very unofficial rookie opinion, I would call it Fine. The reverse has a very worn looking AM in America. Maybe this is due to a worn anvil die as @physics-fan3.14 alluded to?

Also VF 25 but this is tricky. Nice semi key coin.

I would give the obverse an VF20 but the reverse seems an F12 at best. Thus, I'm at an F12.

VF-20, technical VF due to separation between the cheek and jaw.
