I have clicked on that link and it states that my account is waiting conformation followed by resend your account for re-certification. I have been logged into coin talk for many days now and have resent the certification several times...it is edited and it remains as conformation is pending...no idea what I am doing wrong. Could you look at it and see what I have done wrong? Thank you Al
I just read the WantList forums rules and it saids I need atleast ten posts in other forums before I can post there. Perhaps that is the problem. I’ve also seen it at the for sale / trade forum, which probably has the same rules.
Yes all the ad sections have the same rules. But you also need to understand that you need 10 posts before you can start a thread in the ad sections. You have over 10 posts now, so now you can advertise there just like all other members. But be aware - you cannot post a Reply in any of the ad threads already there. But it's not just you - NOBODY can post a Reply there. If you have any interest in one of the ads you see there then you have to contact the person who posted it by private message. You do that by clicking on their avatar and then selecting - Start a Conversation.
Hi everyone - wondering if someone (an admin?) could help out. I am a new user, just registered, but I never receive the confirmation email. My provider is iCloud (me.com) and I have no issues receiving emails from any other forum, whether it's xenforo or any other engine. Also checking my junk mail folders, but nothing. Thanks!!
All I can tell you is this - read everything I have said in this thread. Then do what I said to do in this thread and that will fix the problem.
I seem to be having problems similar to yours Albert. I have verified the address as requested twice now and I still get "unauthorized" messages and it continually shows "your account is awaiting confirmation". I have contacted support and have yet to get a response. Maybe the process takes much longer than it says despite the messages saying "confirmed". I do not know but I agree it is quite frustrating. Perhaps when you find out what is wrong with yours you could enlighten me? I've read and re-read several times now and I'm about to give it up. I do seem to be able to post though so I'm really very sure what is happening here. Appreciate the time taken let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.
Prez, you may not be doing anything wrong. Then again you might be, I don't know. What I do know is that every single person who has had this problem, including many who have never posted in this thread, and including Albert - once they followed my directions given above - solved their problem. Every single one. All you have to do is set up and email account with Gmail or one of the other free email providers, make sure you click on the - Log in or Sign up - button, (and not the Newsletter box), when you try to register and everything will work exactly like it is supposed to.
Alright, thank you. I do not currently have a gmail account but I can certainly create one I suppose. I appreciate the information.
This is not really a question about posting, but similar. I though I'd ask a question. How do you add a coin store to the Directory? I work at edited, and would like it added. Thanks for your help! edited Editing had to be done as per forum rules, but I saved your info, I'll add it for you.
I would like to post a picture of a very odd nickel that I've had since way back when .......... I am still waiting for a confirmation email though. Please re-send ? Yeah, did that; about forty-leven times.
Please do what I have instructed others to do in this thread and it will solve your problem. That is the only thing that will work.
I am sorry to tell you that I am quite serious ! I truly wish it were not the case but there absolutely nothing that I can do - only you can fix it. And I've already told you how. The problem is not with CoinTalk, the forum software is operating exactly as it is supposed to. The original confirmation email was sent to you, every request you have made to have it sent again, those were all sent to you too. You are simply not getting them because they are all being blocked, by something on your end or between you and us, before they ever get to you. That's why the only thing you can do to fix it is by following my instructions. And it's quite simple to do. And it works.
And just so you know, there are several others who use an AT&T email that have or had the exact same problem you are having. And many more who used other email providers. What I'm trying to get you realize is you are far from the first with this problem.
Sorry, but I'm going to have to join the gang of newbs who have not received email confirmation. I have a gmail account with no special settings There is nothing in my primary, promotional or spam boxes from coin talk I have tried to reset but nothing has worked I have read the above posts and tried what they say to do, but nothing has worked.
Even when ok go there, it says I do not have permission to view this page. I can't post a new thread either. I can reply...as I am here.
