    3 boxes of halves...nothing. That's 8 skunks in a row. I'm due.

Do you keep going to the same bank.... if so that might be your problem

Bman, I think the same skunk keeps passing through everyone’s neighborhood this week. I’ve gone through 6 separate halves boxes this week, all different banks, and no silver. But today at least I came up with a handful of 87s P and D and BU versions of several others. Bye, bye skunk!

I'm off today to take one of the 4-legged kids to the vet. It looks like a windy mess of a weekend on tap for us here in the Delmarva so I'm going to hit up a couple of local CU's while I'm in town and try to load up on "something to do" while the wind howls. Don't expect I'll make it to a few of my usual Friday evening spots today because of expected wind restrictions/closures on some of the local bridges and a pesky "high profile" vehicle.

Enjoying the wind here too. Got me the day off work and the kid a day off school. Going to see if we can hit up a few banks as well for something to do over the weekend.

Got 40 in halves the other day MWR... nothing. However the teller said stop in any time (I'm not an account holder and she knows it) and she'll let me buy what's in her tray. I also know she always keeps them in Stock in the vault, so I guess she's bound to have at least some MWRs if nothing else.

Other day I went to the bank before work and got another red seal two.

Hopefully today's the day they have halves... I haven't seen CWR in a while, nevertheless silver!

Went out today but didn't have much luck due to the high winds. Lots of power outtages around here. So far today I've lots 3 shutters off the front of my house :(

2 banks yesterday yielded $10.50 in loose halves...nada.

Today one of my friendly tellers, the one who set aside the GW commemorative silver half about 2 weeks ago, left me a message that she set aside a couple red seal bills from the 50’s, and a few Ikes for me today.

I’ll bring her a coffee card when I pick up the goods Monday!

Relationships matter...DO YOU ALL HEAR ME?!? :)

I agree with @berto about the relationships with tellers.

I go to my favorite bank, conveniently on my way to work and check if they have any halves, but they already know what I want when I walk in the door.

Christine says she has some, just gotta wait because she was the only teller assisting a customer at the moment.

First she takes out some Ikes which I gladly accept, and 3 dollars in halves, 1 of which was I told her was a Spanish PTAs, which she took back. I think she collects world coins.

Then she takes out a bag marked 2 dollars in dimes. She says "these are all silver, do you want them?"

Of course baffled I say "are you sure you don't want them?"

She says no, and I gladly purchase them and teller her how she made my day today. 2 of them were Canadians which she took back, and 1 of them ended up being clad, but I still walked out with 17 silver dimes, including 2 mercs.

I may just mention again, that I don't even have an account with this bank.

I think I'll pick up munchkins for the whole staff and a gift cardfor her. She's a great person and it's not the first time she's given my silver willingly, last time it was 3 silver dimes, 1 merc.

Enjoy the picture and good luck to all!

I think I'd keep the Canadian silver but otherwise you killed It!
I'm going through 1980 rolls. As many as 5 from each roll make 6 standards.

Ouch. The wind this weekend was no joke. Hope the shutters ended up being the only damage. Rode the storm out without too many ill effects here other than a few hours of generator power sucking down propane. Had a couple of limbs down, but surprisingly didn't lose any trees this time around.
