The lighter fields vs the darker areas around devices that would be hard to "rub clean" make it look cleaned to me. I love that design though. Beautiful coin. Can't wait to add one to my collection.
I think you are asking about how to identify if a coin has been cleaned? I hope that’s what you are asking.... That’s a heck of a cool design by the way.... other than what @eddiespin and @furryfrog02 offered, I would only add one thing. Take note of the pinkish residue in the low lying areas of the coin. That is what’s left over from jewelers rouge otherwise known as polishing compound. I see that a lot on old US gold that has been used in jewelry at some point.
I don't think they are hard to find per se. I've bid on several on ebay but haven't one a single one yet haha.
