Thoughts on the dollars below? They test at 90% silver and have the correct weight and measurements. I believe they are legit but would like to get some additional thoughts if there are any red flags you see....

Look like fakes to me but I'm no expert on the series.

Looks a little bit "soft" on some details and strong on others. Could they be silver plated coins? What kind of test told you 90%?

Do you own them? Are you looking to buy them?
    What is the cost?

I think they have a decent enough shot to warrant sending them in. :)

Looking to buy them locally. No price on them yet. Worked out a deal with the guy where I am going to send them in. They are part of a larger collection where all the rest are legit.

What do you see that makes you think that?

I don't know if they are real or not. If they are real they have been cleaned.
The reason I ask the price is, these are very valuable coins (if real), and if you are getting a great deal on them, then that would raise suspicion on authenticity.

Edges meeting up with the Rims very suspect. Looks lile a cast was made. Dont waste your time and money submitting them. I wouldn't buy the others unless slabbed, and even then I would avoid it likely. Is this guy a brick-and-mortar dealer, or a guy who shows up at shows and flea markets?

Perhaps, as an exercise for those potentially willing to buy such coins without the prerequisite knowledge to do so safely, the OP should try to attribute them. Finding a match, of course, doesn't automatically mean authenticity is verified, but it's a step in the right direction and worth the effort.

For starters, does this look familiar or not?

Well look I've only been collecting for a little while, but when I see the high areas and compare it to what should be high areas the wear is not uniform.
There are other signs but you need to learn.
