Probus Error

    I looked at the face of Probus too many times on this bronze coin, turning it right and left. I came to a conclusion that there's some kind of double die, or double struck there.
    Please give me your opinion. The coin is listed Cohen 99- Antioch. Thank you. Probs DH 001.jpg Probso R 001.jpg

    I can't really tell? It just sort of looks a bit worn. Is there something to the right of his head? Or is that just some bumps in the patina?

    I do not see double striking, but you may see more in hand. What I see are worry lines on his brow. The pic below is from Roma via acsearch shows the brow furrows.
