    The coin is pretty nice. It looks like it may have carbon spots which would kill it but if not then my gut tells me it's a nice Gem. It doesn't appear to have been cleaned.

    I doubt it's worth submitting but a better picture might change this.

    That's very nice of you to do so, But it isn't very hard to crop them himself, In fact it is quite easy and should be done to assist himself. That way he doesn't have to deal with any BS. He has the clear photos down, The post photo processing should be second nature.

    I find that it prompts them to figure out how to do it themselves when they see their image cropped as an example..

    I hope you are right. Because, when they aren't cropped, I tend to just pass by. I am here to look at and learn about coins, not save and crop someone else's photo so that I can see it.

    By the way, @Shag are you taking these photos in your 70's ford econoline van? If so, I miss mine. it had a sink, stove, bed, paisley print curtains and the best part was the shag carpet. I had some good times owning that van. it was like this one except colors swapped.[​IMG]

    Yes, I will try to crop the photos. I think I have learned how to do that.
