Ha. The gold spent the last 10000 years since the last ice age sitting in water so that’s how I store any I pan out. This is from a series of new prospect holes I dug last year. They didn’t show real well so not so much that time but I’m creeping up on the load and this season looks to be better!

I was, of course, just pulling your leg, but this is indeed very cool.

You should consider sharing/explaining more about exactly what you're doing and how you're doing it. I think it would be very interesting. :)

It all starts with Geology and the study of areas that are set up geologically to have produced gold. I don’t think that Coin Talk is the right place to talk about the art of prospecting.

Little teaser here. The big black line is the Straight Creek Fault, THE major fault that runs along the Cascade range up and through Vancouver Island, Canada. The two green areas are Shuksan Green Shist and Darrington Phyllite. These two formations are classic gold producing minerals. The red marks are prospecting areas from the last couple of years. The yellow are this seasons areas to prospect. The black rectangle is were I believe the load exists. The whole area was scraped clean at the end of the last ice age so what I’ve found has only been exposed since then. Sorry to the OP for high jacking his thread. Reed and Sparkles the Unicorn.

Yet it apparently is the place where people go to advertise their delusions. Call me crazy, but I'd take an interesting thread centered on prospecting over the 332nd thread this week on 1982 cents or the 187th on 69-S DDOs, general discussion or not. JMHO, of course.

That looks like a nice plot, I wish you luck in your search.
What is the acreage of your land? Or, Sq. ftg.

Two claims of 20 acres each, covers most of the picture I posted and some on the back side in the foreground.

You can tell from the photo in the OP it's nothing.
I seriously doubt it was sent in for grading.
