1997p 1998 p kennedy half

i was looking at my Kennedy halves collection when i noticed on the p mints that there was a crack from the base of the neck between the 1 and the 9 to the edge this is on one 1997 p and 3 1998 p coins that i have and i was wondering if anyone else noticed this irregularity thanx in advance

can you post pics? could be a die crack or a million and one other things?

 

It is probably a die crack.
Not a variety.
Some collect them, but probably a small premium, if any.
A picture would help.

 

I found three 1998 P Kennedy halfs with the same thing while roll searching last week

 

its weird that there would be that many i wonder if its a common thing if so it sure drives the price down i cant get a good pic but i am glad someone else has some so they know what i am talking about
