Queen's Beasts

Can anyone tell me why were two Queen's Beasts, the Griffin and the Dragon, both have 2017 mint dates? I was under the impression that this series was an annual release issue.

They already have two 2018 releases so I think you had just heard wrong that it was only one type per year.

 

Which two? Do you know? I just heard about the Bull of Clarence, which other? Thanks

 

The first one was the Red Dragon of Wales which if memory serves me right I believe was actually released in 2017 but is dated 2018

 

Just found out, it's the Unicorn. Thanks for setting me straight on the release issue - not annual.

 

The "reason" is to make money...

 

I would almost bet my Queens Beasts that they want to get the last five in the series out before the Queen passes......
