I just finsihed my Belarusian page on my site :D :D it took a while due to the number of notes, but also because it took so dang long to find something of a history that talked about the currency there. What i found wasnt the best, but its better then nothing.

please check them out here :D (if i can do the link right) Belarus Currency

while the notes are not the most dramatic looking in artistic quality, i do like the animal vingettes! Simplistic, yet, endearing :D

    From your page:

<<Starting in 2008, the Central Bank of the Republic of Belarus announced that the ruble will be tied to the United States dollar instead of the Russian ruble.>>

Says lots about Belarus, they are idiots cannot pay gas bills, and have Hitler looklike president. Now they not want Belarus currency tie to Russian rublei, because it might rise in value, not good for inflation. So better have USA dollar which loses so much of value against RU, EU, JP, etc currency.:secret:

Kind of harsh to call them names isn't it? Im not sure what the exact reasons were behind their decision to peg their currency to the US, but i doubt its because of any lack of inteligence. One thing to think of, the US dollar is down becuase the FED keeps dropping interest rates to help curb any drop in the economy - this is short term. Historicaly speaking the US dollar has remained stronger and more stable then the Russain Rublei. Hopefully, the future will remain bright for Russia and its currency will continue to remain strong, and stable. One thing i have learned with any government, they are more then willing to change their past decisions at any given moment! So, anything can happen.

to sign the guestbook? well, ok .. the admin pass is... wait a second :)

it shouldn't ask for a password to sign it, if you click any of the functions in an existing post it will... but i just tried, it was going to elt me sign it myself (and no, i am not logged in)

if it continues to happen, let me know please -- it might explain why i havent gotten alot of guestbook posts (considering the traffic i get)
