Help Identify This Ancient!

    My brother bought this a while ago because he thought it looked cool, I thought it was about time we knew what it actually was :D. Please help me to identify what this coin is!

    Its a Constantinian AE3 (bronze size 3). We don't know the denomination of these pieces. The reverse legend reads GLORIA EXERCITVS. It dates from the 4th century AD. Unfortunately, not enough of the legend/mintmark are visible to get a more accurate date or attribution to emperor. The mintmark is in the area below the soldiers, called the exergue. It probably reads SMTS or something similar.
