I forget the term, pretty beat up but still pretty cool. I thought it was a large scratch on the obverse until i looked closer at the back, where you can kind of make out the words, i noticed the small o on the stairs fir the words "of america" thought it was a cool find roll hunting today.
Thats it, cool thank you! That and a wide am 2000 in that roll. That one is pretty rough as well but all in all not a bad roll
Bummer, sure, but if you look at this as a learning experience, it's not such a bad thing after all. Fair assumption, and we see quite a few folks confused by these. Stick with it, try to train your eye, and sooner or later you'll find something cool.
Indeed... but why bother when one can simply go back and edit instead of apologizing or simply acknowledging they were wrong? Good call, Paddy. It needed to be said.
Books I try my best to pass on to others that this hobby is more than putting metal disc into holes. To me if thats what they believe it to be ...then it will be a short term hobby. If they aren't willing to learn ,research and read then maybe tney are just wasting their time,as well mine. I am in my 60's and every day learn something new.... in life. I'v been a collector since 7 no expert here just someone who enjoys learning ,and passing on that knowlege. One must realize that when you are wrong you're wrong, and when you're correct you need be humble so other respect you for not only what you do know...but for the person you truly are.
