Please tell me why the TN quarters are so highly priced, the mintages for the P & D aren't all that low? I was out of the country when they came out that year and haven't seen any explanation on the forums!!

I have actually heard that all of the souvenier shops slapping a cheesy Elvis sticker on the TN quarters then selling them for five bucks a pop is part of the reason they're priced higher. I don't know whether or not I actually believe that, but I suppose it's as good a reason as any! I've also heard that about the NC quarters and Dale Earnhardt Sr stickers. Rachel
Why would Elvis affect TN quarters? Everybody knows he's living in Minnesota, working at a gas station.
