Good. You can have some fun then with buddies who are unfamiliar with these. Every once in a while, I'll show an unusual piece to a friend or acquaintance. I'll then spin some yarn about it. If they ask, "Really?" .... I'll reply "Not really." I love to see their faces when I eventually fess up! :angelic:

There is an actual Chicken Ranch brothel but it's in Pahrump Nevada.

That chicken ranch on the token was in reference to the movie with Burt Reynolds, Dolly Pardon Once the inspiration for ''The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,'' before it moved to Nevada.
There are real Sterling Silver and gold rounds that are currently sold and traded that are issued by a mint in the real Nevada brothel's names and logo's along with glad and plated versions. along with other adult subject matter and poker chips. Most of the .999 silver are $50.00/up depending on the spot price.

This is what comes with some of them, the main difference is the name of the brothel.
Last time I posted a link it lasted about 30 sec's As they say Google is your friend.
I think they are way over priced, And don't own any, now they are doing the ringed less then ounce silver center and Gold plated ring.

Starting with this one they used the same reverse of a modified peace/friendship medal on nine of the presidents medals. Must have had budget cuts

    Stork I deliver

A new little Deco addition from one of my favorite engravers (Vernon). Paris, 1937. It's a bit smaller than most I buy (so easy to photo using my standard set up). It's a bit over 3 cm in diameter.

Here is a sports exonumia bronze medal commemorating Roberto Clemente, not sure if there are many available. Maybe a rare find? RCobverseCL.jpg RCreverseCL.JPG
