Crow sucks! I wouldn't even make my ex-wife eat crow, but maybe that was because she was a lousy cook in the first place. Chris
I've never seen an actual schedule for business strikes, just the production numbers as they're produced. At least you know when they start producing them for some business strikes, yet for others, the number are there at the start of the year and they're planned numbers, production may not have started.
Yep, I have some too. I still think the OP was looking for release dates of regular circulating business strikes and not mint rolls or bags. I replied with the link for production numbers but am not aware if the distribution dates around the country are known.
Yep, the original poster, that would be me, GTeachman, is a very new reader of this forum. Even tho I've been collecting coins since the late 1960s (I'm 63) I am pretty ignorant of all the jargon attached to coin collecting. I didn't know there was a difference between 'business strike' and circulation coins. I was asking for the schedule (date) of the release of the circulation coins. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks, GTeachman
The US Mint releases them to the coin handling terminals right after each release ceremony, so about every 10 weeks a new one is released. However it takes an unknown amount of time for the coin terminal to count them wrap them and deliver them to Banks and other customers who then put them in circulation whereupon you eventually find them.
