1993 D DDO

    Where are you seeing doubling?

    Mint mark bottom right on D

    That looks more like split plate doubling. The zinc is exposed and probably starting to rot.

    Ty for replys you know more about this then i do lol. I thought i can see a second D in person it looks just like a D i'll just keep hunting,having fun. Thanks again

    That is a RPM. Not a doubled die.

    furryfrog02 is correct.. that is an RPM not a doubled die. Not sure what the OP is due to poor picture, but definitely not a DD

    To be fair, the anomaly shown in your photo could be described as a D/D/D, but as the others have said, "DD" is generally accepted to mean "doubled die".

    The final year for RPMs on cents was 1989. Starting in 1990 mintmark were no longer applied to the dies by hand. While this info may be of no use now, perhaps it will be of some help down the road. Welcome to the forum, sir.
