Please tell me why the TN quarters are so highly priced, the mintages for the P & D aren't all that low? I was out of the country when they came out that year and haven't seen any explanation on the forums!!

I have actually heard that all of the souvenier shops slapping a cheesy Elvis sticker on the TN quarters then selling them for five bucks a pop is part of the reason they're priced higher. I don't know whether or not I actually believe that, but I suppose it's as good a reason as any! I've also heard that about the NC quarters and Dale Earnhardt Sr stickers.

Why would Elvis affect TN quarters? Everybody knows he's living in Minnesota, working at a gas station. :D
