Roosevelt Dime- struck through

Hi, can you please help find out if this coin left the mint in this condition,... it has a remarkable struck through at Rev. and a scratch at Obv. I don't know if the scratch happened when the coin got stuck somehow at the die, because its lineup with the struck (rev).

PMD... something scraped it and displaced a lot of metal. There's no way it could have come out of the collar looking like that and the collar is what puts the reeds on the edge.
