    I am not sure how it toned like this, but I suspect the coin toned in a roll or bag of some type, or there was a VERY good coin doctor who did them all.

    In actuality there are a number of similarly toned coins -- all from 1924 -- and all graded around 64, and all graded by NGC between 1992 and 1997.

    I looked at the photo properties and saw he was hosting his own photos, so I took off everything to the right of "miker/". I thought it might work and it did. ;) http://www.pbase.com/miker/image/89541889/medium.jpg. BTW, very nice site leadfoot. :thumb:
