Significant Doubling on 1969-D Kennedy

    Bought this for $8 for the small clip at 2:00 and because it's its a 40% silver piece.

    Then. I saw the reverse...doubling on most letters on the bottom and left side. Also on the left side all along the eagle and olive branches.

    Should I dip this??? (Those are NOT scratches on the reverse, so not sure how that happened).

    That is machine doubling on the reverse, but it is a clip as evidenced by the Blakesley Effect on the opposite rim.

    Yes, it's the very very common ejection/mechanical doubling.

    Not an error, not a doubled die

    Looks far better. I would never dip a coin I like. But ones that I don't care about their monetary value I would.
