    Just my novice opinion, but I think the biggest error in this picture would be adding it to your cart...

    The only thing I wonder about is that the so-called missing clad layer is so incredibly detailed it doesn't look that anything chemically altered it, for example dipping in an acid

    There's still some of the clad layer left on the rim from about 12 oclock down to five oclock, whatever they did to remove it they didn't get it all.
