    Got this from my great grandfather attic ....just curious of value ...have not been able to see anything like it online

    1678 date something to do with a triumph arches
    Google the date and ludovico magno.

    Looks like one from that series "The Great Men of France" medals. I would have to enlarge the picture more for a better ID.

    Bruce no need to double post an item on the forum.
    It is a jeton medal Louis xiv
    As per value you can research this item as you may need to spend some time finding the maker and mintages. Google is your friend
