You might want to check out doubledie.com and check out worthless doubled die. Try to learn first in how the minting process works. Dave
One thing you will learn besides learning how the minting process works and learning all errors, you also have to become a photographer and work with your lighting to get better pictures of your coin. It takes time also crop out all background when posting
Welcome to Coin Talk, JKen. Here are some sites that have good info. http://www.error-ref.com/. http://www.doubleddie.com/1801.html. http://coinauctionshelp.com/page14.html#.WogZyNXwbal.
It's really pretty much a normal coin. In 1982 the mint didn't care at all about quality and used the dies until they turned to mush. This is simply a typical strike from a highly worn die. It is so worn and so badly aligned in the press that the I can barely be told from the N. The Philadelphia (P mint) issues tend to be even worse that the Denvers (D). It's pretty high grade though.
