Is this an error 04 quarter

    The L in liberty looks very faint and the T in trust is also the same on the back the E is barely showing.

    Most likely a common Struck Through Grease (Debris) issue.

    A very, very minor filled die.

    Common on States and Parks quarters,
    among other denominations.
