here's some coin porn for the blast white fans. So happy to add this one recently after a looooooong time scanning for a barber half I loved that wasn't 42 million dollars. Seems every piece that's all there is insanely overpriced and any piece priced nice has something distracting I can't get past. This one finally checked both the price and eye appeal boxes for me

Understand completely. I finally added one myself. A 1894 AU55. It still has plenty of luster. It's in an old NGC holder which is causing some purple toning right on the rims. I have some Morgans with this same toning. It's not monster toning, but it adds to the beauty of the coin. I'll post a picture soon.

The coin is for my Type Set. Funny thing though. The more I looked for this piece, the fonder I became of the design. The reverse is awesome. I just look at the obverse as a picture of a Roman male and it's all good. Lol.

 

Yeah I really love the barber design too.

Love the toning from old NGC fatties too. Especially love it on WLH's have seen a ton in old fatties that turned out beautiful

 

I’m not generally a blast white fan but that looks like it has killer luster and eye appeal

I have not read through the entire 44 page thread.
What ever happened to Amanda? Is she still in the
coin biz or has she moved on? The 2 times I spoke
to her she was very friendly. I hope she is doing well.

 

I believe she's pursuing a different career. Others probably know more than I do.
