Well, it's been harshly cleaned and lightly polished. In that condition, it's worth about silver content - assuming it is silver. Date appears to have been played with too.
I went back and looked at his other items. Something definitely wrong with the dates! IF he can prove them to be authentic morgans, they look altered! But, people bid and bought!!??
