In the word liberty the b & e appears to be connected. Also on the back of the wheat on the left hand side there's some kind of bubble and also the C in cent is smeared upwards in the corner. Would anyone be able to tell me anything about the coin and if there's any value. It's a 1956 Wheat One Cent thanks...

The "bubble" is interesting. I'm not sure what caused that. I'll defer to the error specialists on that. I doubt it carries much if any premium, but it's kind of neat.

    Welcome to CT!!

Thanks for the second set of photo's.

Your coin appears to have a few die breaks on it.

The reverse looks to have a small die break on the left side. This would be called an Interior Die Break or "IDB". You might see if it is listed on Cuds on Coins.

Now the obverse looks interesting. From what I can see your coin has a "BIE" error. A Die break between the B and E in Liberty. Actually it kind of looks like it may have an "IIB" error as well. This is when there is a die break between the I and B in Liberty. These are also know as "LDB"s For more info on what these are and to see a list of these look here.

As @lordmarcovan stated these aren't worth much but are still fun to find. I would put it in a 2x2. I like to keep these.

    Hope this helps...Mont.
