Does this have a ghost of a chance of getting a FSB designation from any of the graders?

Hard to tell from the pic but it looks broken on the left side of the center bands to me.

Depends. How much of a, ohh, shall we say "gratuity" are you prepared to offer? It's a nice place ya' got here, pal. It would be a shame if anything were ta' happen to it...

Can you recommend a grading service that would work with? Perhaps Ed Wood could help me...

I'd say directly, but it'd probably get me sued. As Nixon once said to Kissinger, "Ya gotta think BIG, Henry."

Looks like a nice specimen but that middle ban isn't split to my eye.

I know I was hoping against hope, but this is a 1945 P and I thought it worth a shot.

Sorry but I think not. I see 3 small dings and that is more than enough to say no.

    I don't focus on FSB's. I assume 1945-P is a tough one?

That is really close for that date. I was thinking it may have been a 1945. Usually, that middle band and area is flat as a board. That is really close to a 5 digit coin.

While I wouldn't spend FB money on that coin in a FB holder, I do think you should submit it.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

That probably doesn't make it at PCGS, and it definitely doesn't make it at NGC.
