This looks correct too me what do you guys think? The entire reverse has doubling! Couldn't find anything on Variety Vista or Wexlers !
Don't pay me too much attention. I've gotten really a bit too much "PTSD" from "doubled this or that" questions. It'll pass. But know this - this really is NOT what this hobby is about. That's about all I can handle for tonight.
Clearly true, but perhaps you should. Toward the bottom of it, Mr. Wexler calls out people with YOUR attitude, quite directly.
I have many oddities and if I want them, I want them. Just shut the Edited: Language~ Read the rules on abbreviations please!. It's what I want!
And I want to go on record that SOMEBODY on this thread is a threat (see what I did there?) to honest numismatics. Nobody lives forever, and their accumulations get back out into circulation if they're not properly labelled. Yes, of course anyone should collect what they want, but since we are ALL ephemeral, our collections outlive us and get back out there. Good thing, too. As a collector of one type of material that could fool the unwary, I willingly take onto my back the RESPONSIBILITY to go hyper-careful to label them both what they ARE and what they ARE NOT. I could die tonight, and my son deserves to know.
OP, If already spending time on Wexler's, wouldn't the obvious be to make an effort to familiarize yourself with the different types of doubling? I ask not to pick on you or to be mean, but only because we see so many folks who do just this and I'd like to understand why.
Seriously? It's one thing to promote the idea of liking or collecting something simply because we like it, but something else altogether to be so ridiculously indignant when confronted on your own nonsense.
